Top 10 Fastest Centuries In IPL History: A century in the Indian Premier League (IPL) is a remarkable achievement, but hitting the milestone in the shortest amount of time is even more remarkable. There have been some incredible IPL centuries where batters' explosive hitting has destroyed bowlers. The fastest hundreds in the tournament have been reached by many cricket players, from young, up-and-coming talents to legendary power-hitters.

Cricketers Who Smashed The Quickest IPL Century

Chris Gayle, who played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), hit one of the most famous knocks in IPL history when he smashed a century in just 30 balls. The fastest IPL century to date is still his memorable 2013 innings against the Pune Warriors. After Chris Gayle, now 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi of Rajasthan Royals has become the second cricketer with the fastest century in IPL in just 35 balls.

Ishan Kishan also recently made history by hitting 100 runs in 45 balls for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) against the Rajasthan Royals. With an explosive batting display, he showed his aggressive intent and ability to dominate the opposition. Ishan Kishan was playing for the Mumbai Indians previously, but in the auction of IPL 2025, he was ousted from MI and SRH brought him. By smashing the opposition team in its first match of IPL 2025, Ishan proved his talent and skills.
