Top 10 Highest Railway Bridges In The World: India's Chenab Bridge, located in Jammu and Kashmir, has become the world's highest railway arch bridge, standing tall at 362 meters above the Chenab River. This engineering marvel was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 6, 2025, marking a significant milestone in India's infrastructure development. The Chenab Bridge is part of the ambitious Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Link (USBRL) project, which aims to provide all-weather rail connectivity to the Kashmir Valley. Before the Chenab Bridge, it was China’s Najiehe Railway Bridge, which is 305 meters tall.
