American singer and artist Beyonce has added another to her cap of achievements as she won her first-ever Primetime Emmy Award for the Netflix special show Beyoncé Bowl. The Television Academy Awards announced its winners of the 77th Emmy Awards on August 12. It named the singer as a costume designer for the Beyoncé Bowl. As per Billboard, she received the award in the category of Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Programming. Apart from her, costume designer Shiona Turini, assistant costume designers Erica Rice and Molly Peters, costume supervisor Chelsea Staebell and head of workroom Timothy White also received the honour.
The awards will be handed out at the 77th Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which is set to happen on September 6 and 7 at the Peacock Theatre, Los Angeles. The 77th Emmy Awards will be held on September 14, 2025.
The Netflix special featured performances with Post Malone, Shaboozey, Blue Ivy Carter and Aneiszka Sea. It has also been nominated for outstanding Diercting for a Variety special and Outstanding Variety special. The winners will be announced at the upcoming ceremonies.
Notably, Beyonce Bowl has been produced by her own Parkwood Entertainment. It received good reviews and broke viewership records. It is more than a just halftime show, which is cemented as Christmas Gameday as a new cultural event for American football. Well, the halftime show has been directed by Alex Rudzinski. It had a viewership of 50 million in just 10 days of release on the popular OTT platform Netflix.

On December 25, the singer took to the field and performed songs from her Grammy-winning album ‘Cowboy Carter’. Her daughter also Blu Ivy also joined for the final song, Texas Hold ‘Em.
