Justin Timberlake is not only a phenomenal actor who never fails to impress with his acting prowess, but is also a talented and loved singer. His smooth vocals and charismatic stage presence have earned him the title of ‘Prince of Pop.’ Justin got this nickname due to his successful transition from a boy band to a solo artist with a string of hit songs and albums. His songs like Mirrors, It’s Gonna Be Me, This I Promise You and others have fetched him a huge fan following. The star was recently occupied with his Forget Tomorrow tour, which started on April 29, 2025 and ended on July 30, 2025.
Justin Timberlake’s shows during the Forget Tomorrow tour grabbed attention as the singer was questioned for his lacklustre performances and showed a lack of energy on stage. The 44-year-old singer took to his Instagram to share about his secret battle with Lyme disease. He posted multiple photos from his Forget Tomorrow tour to celebrate his two-year-long journey and wrote a long caption, sharing his health update. Justin mentioned that he is a private person, but wanted to reflect on his tour and share something with his fans. He wrote, “Among other things, I’ve been battling some health issues, and was diagnosed with Lyme disease - which I don’t say so you feel bad for me - but to shed some light on what I’ve been up against behind the scenes.”
Expressing his shock, he wrote, “When I first got the diagnosis I was shocked for sure.” The ‘Bye Bye Bye’ singer further added that finally he was able to understand why he felt a sense of sickness and experienced extreme nerve pain while performing on stage. This left Justin with two choices - either he stopped touring or he continued to figure things out. Justin chose the latter and wrote, “I decided the joy that performing brings me far outweighs the fleeting stress my body was feeling. I’m so glad I kept going. ”
