'Moana 2 Teaser Trailer Out: 'Moana' is one of the most popular animated movies by Disney and became a huge hit at the time of its release. The sequel of 'Moana' has been in development for several years and fans are eagerly waiting to watch the movie on the big screen. Disney has officially announced 'Moana 2' and unveiled its teaser trailer which has created a lot of excitement among the audience.

'Moana 2', according to Disney, will give the audiences "an expansive new voyage with Moana, Maui and a brand-new crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.”

The movie will release in India on November 29, 2024. Directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand and Dana Ledoux Miller, and produced by Christina Chen and Yvett Merino, 'Moana 2 features music by Grammy winners Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, Grammy nominee Opetaia Foaʻi, and three-time Grammy winner Mark Mancina.

Auli’i Cravalho, who lent her voice to the title character Moana, will return for the sequel along with Dwayne Johnson, who gave voice to Maui.

Disney's CEO Bob Iger said in a statement, "Moana’ remains an incredibly popular franchise. We can’t wait to give you more of Moana and Maui when ‘Moana 2’ comes to theaters this November.”

As per reports, 'Moana' will also have a live action remake but not much details have been unveiled about the project.
