Selena Gomez has seemingly reacted to Hailey Bieber’s latest comments about their long-standing rumoured feud in a now-deleted post. omez shared a post on her Instagram story on Saturday morning after Hailey's annoying remark went viral. Her post, “Just leave the girl alone," was believed to be a response to Hailey for her latest remarks about their beauty brand rivalry. The singer and Rare Beauty founder dropped a post a few hours after Hailey Bieber made comments about constant comparisons between her brand, Rhode, and Gomez’s Rare Beauty, calling them "annoying". Selena Gomez posted, “Just leave the girl alone. She can say whatever she wants. Doesn't affect [my] life whatsoever. It's just about relevance not intelligence. Be kind. All brands inspire me. There is room for everyone. And hopefully we can all stop." Shortly after posting, Selena deleted the post, but eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed it and made it go viral.
Hailey's Annoying Comment On Comparisons With Selena
In a recent interview for WSJ Magazine's Innovators Issue, Hailey declined to directly answer a question about comparisons between her brand and Gomez, but responded to it, saying “annoying” to be pitted against others.
She said, as quoted by People, "It’s always annoying being pitted against other people. I didn’t ask for that. When people want to see you a certain way and they’ve made up a story about you in their minds, it’s not up to you to change that."
Selena Gomez And Hailey Bieber's Rumoured Feud
The rumours of a feud between two beauty icons stem from Selena Gomez’s past relationship with Hailey’s now-husband Justin Bieber. The singer, who tied the knot with Benny Blanco on September 27, dated Justin early in her career.
Despite several public attempts to end the speculations, including posing for a photo together in 2022 at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures' annual gala, narratives of Hailey and Gomez’s alleged rift have persisted over the years.
Previously, Hailey also slammed the made-up feud between them. In 2023, during her appearance on Bloomberg’s The Circuit, the Rhode founder said, "I don't think that this is about me, Hailey Bieber, and Selena Gomez. This is not about this pitting between two women — it’s about the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made-up and twisted, and perpetuated narratives that can be really dangerous."

Referring to the narrative of two women being pitted against each other because of a man, Hailey added, “I hate it. I’ve hated it since the beginning, and it goes back to being misunderstood. Time and time again, I say there is no issue, and it's so disappointing that people still behave this way over a man, " as per People report.
In 2023, Gomez publicly asked her fans to “stop” cyberbullying Hailey, but it seems like the peace between the two was short-lived.
