Selena Gomez walked the red carpet in an exclusive Rahul Mishra Couture dress at the Rare Impact Fun Benefit Gala in Los Angeles. This moment made India proud, after she made heads turn wearing a beautiful purple flower dress. Several Indian designers over the years have made India proud, as renowned celebrities have walked the international red carpets wearing Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi, Gaurav Gupta’s Couture.
Recently, at the Paris Fashion Week, international celebrities Zendaya and Gigi Hadid were also spotted wearing Rahul Mishra’s Couture and leaving his mark on the global fashion sense. Rahul Mishra exclusively created this handmade petal embroidered dress for Selena Gomez, which is a true piece of art. The purple ‘Iris’ dress had an off-the-shoulder neckline and beautiful mimics of the delicate flower iris. He embellished 18 petals with detailed chenille thread, binded with glass beads, sequins, bugle beads, silver zari, and badla.

This unique dress also features a motif representing Muni Ahmed, a dedicated member of Rahul Mishra’s team, completing his 10 year term with the designer. Talking about the accessories of Selena Gomez, she kept the whole look simple, focusing the limelight on the dress. Selena elegantly paired the gown with metallic lilac strappy heels and paired it with silver geometric earrings. She completed the look with nude makeup, and straight plaited hair.
