Sophie Turner, known for her role as Sansa Stark in 'Game of Thrones', recently shared her feelings about her marriage to Joe Jonas and the challenges she faced during their divorce. The actress revealed in an interview with British Vogue that she disliked being referred to as just "Joe's wife," feeling like a "plus-one" in the spotlight.

During their marriage, Sophie, Priyanka Chopra (married to Nick Jonas), and Danielle Jonas (married to Kevin Jonas) were often called the "wives" while supporting the Jonas Brothers' band. Sophie expressed her discomfort with this label, stating, "It was kind of this plus-one feeling. And that’s nothing to do with him – in no way did he make me feel that – it was just that the perception of us was as the groupies in the band."

Their divorce, announced in September last year, was reportedly difficult for Sophie, especially as it involved a legal battle over the custody of their daughters. Sophie candidly shared, "There were some days that I didn’t know if I was going to make it. I would call my lawyer saying, ‘I can’t do this. I just can’t.’ I was just never strong enough to stand up for myself."

Despite the challenges, Sophie found strength in her children, stating, "Once anyone says to me, ‘Do it for your kids,’ I’m doing it. I wouldn’t do it for myself, but I’ll find the strength for them."
