‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’ was one of the most anticipated films of 2023 and hit theatres on June 2. The film is the official sequel to the 2018’s animated film, ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ and received an overwhelming response at the box office. After receiving positive reviews from the public and critics, the film is all set for its OTT release after 4 months of its theatrical release. ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’ will premiere on Netflix on October 1.
The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K Thompson. It is written by Phil Lord, David Callaham, and Christopher Miller. The film was widely appreciated for its fast rhythm and went all out as compared to the other ‘Spider-Man’ films in the past and weighed the expectations of the fans. The film did not strive to push past the scope and had a meditative confidence.

The film was earlier scheduled to release on Zee5 in India in August 2023. However, the film’s OTT release was severely pushed, with the streaming giant Netflix bagging the final run. ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’ collected $190 million domestically, and around $384 million worldwide. In India, the film minted Rs 53.2 Crore gross.
The film features an ensemble voice cast, including Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Karan Soni, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham, and Oscar Isaac.
