Tom Holland's Spider-Man: Brand New Day is one of the most ambitious projects in the MCU. The makers recently teased a new Spidey suit, featuring black webbing against a bright red-and-blue design, which is rooted in iconic looks from Marvel Comics. During the filming, Holland suffered an injury on Friday, September 19. He was reportedly rushed to the hospital for a mild concussion that he sustained on the Glasgow sets of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. In the wake of the incident, it was reported he would be taking a break from filming for several days. However, he made his first appearance at a family event, joing Zendaya and his family.
Tom Holland, just a day after the incident, made a surprise appearance at a family charity event on Saturday. As host of the Posh Pub Quiz in London, an event organised by The Brothers Trust, which he runs with his brothers Sam, Harry, and Paddy Holland. He was seen posing with his fiancée, Zendaya. His appearance at the event caught the attention and was lauded by his fans. The pictures from the night were shared by the actor's brothers, Sam and Paddy, on their respective Instagram handles.
Laura Hope Whitaker, co-founder of Java Joy, who attended the event, posted several photos from the event. Her post read, “A ‘night of all nights’… The Tom Holland Posh Pub Quiz for @thebrotherstrust was one to remember! We showed up in our best — with joy — and it carried through the night." She added, “We chatted with Tom, his family and met Zendaya. Best quote of the night was when she met Nicky and said, “I’ve heard so much about you!”

After the actor was injured during a stunt that went wrong on the sets, a report by The Hollywood Reporter stated that Holland is currently on a break as a precaution. Sony, who is behind the film, will hold a meeting to adjust filming plans.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is one of the highly anticipated projects. Following the record-breaking success of previous films, including 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, Far From Home and others. Spider-Man: Brand New Day began production in Glasgow in early August. The film is slated to hit theatres in July 2026.
