Popular podcaster Joe Rogan has sparked intense debate with his latest claim that President Donald Trump may have ordered military action in Iran to divert public attention from the unresolved Jeffrey Epstein scandal. In the July 15 episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan directly accused the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI of misleading the public and covering up crucial evidence in the case.

Rogan’s explosive comments come after the FBI walked back prior claims that it possessed “tens of thousands of videos” related to Epstein’s alleged crimes. “They’ve got videotape, and all of a sudden they don’t,” Rogan said. “Why’d they say there were thousands of hours of tapes of people doing horrible s–t? Why’d they say that?” His criticism didn’t stop there, he also blasted Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel for contradicting themselves.

Rogan, who has publicly distanced himself from both political parties in recent years, described the situation as a betrayal of public trust. On a previous episode aired June 5, Patel told Rogan that no Epstein “client list” or video archive existed. This directly contradicted Bondi’s earlier statement in May that the FBI was examining extensive footage involving Epstein and minors.

For Rogan, this backtracking adds fuel to the fire. “Just bomb Iran and everybody forgets. Everybody forgets about it,” he said, referring to the US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in June, just days after similar attacks by Israel. Rogan insinuated that these military actions were timed to conveniently overshadow mounting public frustration over the Epstein investigation.

 Epstein Files And Public Fallout

Trump’s administration had earlier promised transparency in the Epstein case, even publishing The Epstein Files: Phase 1 in February. However, the document was widely criticised for failing to provide any new information about Epstein’s alleged high-profile clients. The release of a recent DOJ memo concluding that Epstein died by suicide also contradicted long-standing claims from Trump’s own base, who expected full disclosure of Epstein’s connections.

The memo reignited conspiracy theories rather than settling them. Many Trump supporters expressed outrage, claiming betrayal after years of promises to “expose everyone.” Rogan echoed that frustration, suggesting that powerful interests are shielding their own.
