Social media users across the United States on Friday reported multiple sightings of mysterious spiral UFOs, with one observer describing the objects in the night sky as "flying saucers”. Residents of Palmdale and Lancaster in California reported witnessing at least six flying saucers hovering in the sky, sparking rumours about the presence of aliens.

Numerous individuals in Palmdale described the objects as moving swiftly and making abrupt, sharp turns—behaviour that appeared inconsistent with any known aircraft. Some witnesses also reported seeing smaller, fast-moving objects that would connect with or separate from the larger craft, hinting at some form of coordinated activity.

The sightings are focused in Palmdale and Lancaster, locations close to major US Air Force bases, which naturally increases speculation about the nature of these events.

Soon after the sighting, local residents started sharing their experiences on the Ring Neighbors app. One resident recalled going outside with their mother to check for themselves after seeing the initial post. He said, "Flying objects in sky? I was intrigued by the first neighbor who posted that he saw a UFO from his yard so my mom and I went out to ours to see if we'd see anything. They were too far to me to confidently say they were flying saucers, but did anyone else see multiple? We counted 6 after being out there for about 10 minutes."

Another resident recounted, “I was walking my dog in the backyard when I noticed a bright light in the sky; to my surprise, it was a hovering craft!” Another user reported seeing six objects within a span of ten minutes.

“I think UFOs are the new crop circles. A fair of these sightings have been in California recently,” wrote another user on social media platform X.
