The infamous Annabelle doll, known from The Conjuring film franchise and chilling paranormal folklore, is currently on a spine-tingling tour across the United States. Dubbed the ‘Devils on the Run’ exhibition, the travelling event launched in early May 2025 and has already drawn thousands of horror enthusiasts, skeptics, and believers alike.
Organised by the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR), founded by renowned demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren, the tour gives the public a rare opportunity to see the real-life doll outside the now-shuttered Warren Occult Museum in Connecticut. The event aims to educate visitors about the Warrens’ case files and remind them that the horror-movie version of Annabelle has deeply unsettling real-world roots.
Doll With A Dark History
The doll itself, a seemingly harmless Raggedy Ann, is believed to be tied to demonic possession and violent paranormal activity. According to the Warrens, Annabelle’s powers are dangerous enough that she should never be moved or touched, a warning echoed by many on social media as the tour unfolds. “DO. NOT. MOVE. HER,” read a typical TikTok post after her recent appearance in San Antonio, Texas, at the Fourth Annual Psychic & Spirit Fest held at the historic, and haunted, Black Swan Inn.
Paranormal investigator Ryan Daniel Buell, leading the tour, stated that the Warrens themselves used to travel with the doll, though opinions differ on the accuracy of that claim. Regardless, her presence continues to elicit fear and fascination, as Buell shared viral footage of Annabelle entering the French Quarter in New Orleans, with many viewers commenting on the “different energy” in the air.

Inside ‘Devils On The Run’ Tour
The tour began with a multi-day stay at the West Virginia State Penitentiary in Moundsville, May 8–11. Visitors were invited to attend lectures, participate in overnight paranormal investigations, and view Annabelle in person, always under supervision.
Just days later, the tour moved to San Antonio for the Spirit Fest on May 17–18, featuring psychics, demonologists, and spiritual advisors. Annabelle was the star attraction, prompting long lines and sold-out sessions.
According to organisers, the tour will continue through Illinois, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and several other states during summer 2025.
As Annabelle's haunted journey prepares for its next stop, fears are already brewing among Kentucky locals — one social media user warned, "The Annabelle doll is coming to Kentucky on tour (specifically Louisville). We can't afford to have our Commonwealth to get cursed or burned," while another added, "Annabelle, that creepy doll, hit the road in May 2025 for the ‘Devils on the Run Tour.’ Next stops might be Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Kentucky, though the full schedule’s still under wraps. Annabelle’s road trip is just getting started!"
