US President Donald Trump addressed growing speculation about his health on Sunday, telling reporters aboard Air Force One that the results of an MRI he underwent in October were “perfect.” The comments came as the president flew back to Washington from Florida, shortly after a photograph taken at his Mar-a-Lago resort reignited public debate over his medical condition.

Responding to questions from reporters, Trump said he had “no problem” with making the MRI results public. “If they want to release it, it’s okay with me,” he said. “It was just an MRI… It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and I aced it, I got a perfect mark.”

When asked what part of his body was scanned, however, Trump admitted he had “no idea.” The White House has declined to clarify why the MRI was conducted or which area was examined during his annual physical.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has been one of the most vocal critics demanding the release of Trump’s medical records. Trump dismissed Walz as “incompetent” when pressed about the governor’s comments.

Controversy Over Trump’s Remarks About Walz

The president also defended calling Walz “seriously retarded” in a Thanksgiving Day post on Truth Social, sparking backlash across the political spectrum.

“I think there’s something wrong with him,” Trump said, doubling down on the slur. His remarks prompted renewed scrutiny of the president’s own health, particularly after the circulation of a widely shared photograph from Mar-a-Lago.

Viral Photo Raises New Health Concerns

The photo, which was captured at Trump's Club in Palm Beach, depicts the US President with his eyes closed and mouth slightly open while donning a white golf polo and a red "45-47" cap, a nod to his past and potentially future presidential terms. Photos of him quickly went viral on social media, with many online users speculating as to whether it reflected fatigue, a momentary lapse, or something more serious medically.

The White House has confirmed, through the Associated Press, that Trump lives with a condition known as chronic venous insufficiency, which affects the blood flow in his legs.
