Three people were killed after a small six-seater plane crashed near the Boca Raton Airport in South Florida on Friday morning. According to the Boca Raton Police Department, the aircraft went down near North Military Trail and Butts Road around 10:20 am, prompting road closures and emergency response in the area.

The plane, identified as a Cessna 310R, had just taken off from Boca Raton Airport before crashing close to Interstate 95 and nearby railroad tracks. Authorities confirmed the aircraft was en route to Tallahassee at the time of the accident.

Flight Data Reveals Final Moments

Data from the flight tracking platform FlightAware shows that the plane circled the area for approximately 20 minutes after takeoff, suggesting a possible mechanical issue or in-flight emergency. Eyewitnesses and local media reported seeing smoke and flames shortly after the crash, with debris scattered across the road and nearby train tracks.

Local emergency services, including firefighters and paramedics, were quick to arrive at the scene, where they encountered a fiery wreck and a large plume of smoke. Despite rescue efforts, none of the three people onboard survived.
