"SQUID SHAPED UFO SPOTTED OVER DALLAS, TEXAS," the post read, accompanied by a short video that appeared to show a glowing, floating object with tentacle-like appendages.

As with most viral UFO sightings, the internet did not disappoint. One user mused, “They are gently waking us up. The sooner we understand, the sooner we can come together as a race, as a species.” Another user joked, “It’s just the interdimensional imp from Superman.”

Some questioned the seemingly exclusive appearance of UFOs in American skies. “Why are aliens only in the USA?” asked one curious commenter. Others tagged X's AI chatbot Grok, demanding answers: “Grok, is this footage real?”

Several netizens speculated that the video was AI-generated or digitally altered, while others dismissed it entirely as a prank or a drone experiment. “Looks real,” said one viewer, while another mocked the event with a string of alien GIFs and memes.

Despite the buzz, no credible evidence has surfaced to verify the authenticity of the footage. Experts have not yet weighed in on whether the object could be a drone, a balloon, a visual effect, or something else entirely.

Just last month, social media erupted after a clip showed what appeared to be a UFO shooting a giant beam down toward the earth. Skeptics claimed it was simply a tall electric pole, while others insisted it was a genuine alien encounter.
