With only weeks remaining before Election Day, a new survey reveals that Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are neck and neck among all registered voters in the key swing states.
According to a recent opinion poll conducted by the Wall Street Journal, Vice President Kamala Harris has a slight lead of 2 percentage points in Arizona, Georgia, and Michigan, while former President Donald Trump is ahead by 6 points in Nevada and 1 point in Pennsylvania. The two candidates are tied in North Carolina and Wisconsin.
The poll, which surveyed 600 registered voters in each state between September 28 and October 8, has a margin of error of 4 percentage points for each state.

A separate poll conducted by the Pew Research Center shows that 48 per cent of respondents would choose Harris if the election were held today, while 47 per cent would back Trump. Additionally, 5 per cent of voters indicated their preference for a third-party candidate.
Trump Dominates Among Older And White Voters
Harris is more popular among younger voters, Black voters, and individuals with a college degree, whereas Trump has greater support among older voters, White voters, and men. Men tend to lean towards Trump over Harris, while women show a preference for Harris by a comparable margin.
A Reuters/Ipsos poll released this week also showed Trump and Harris locked in a close national contest, with Harris slightly leading at 46 per cent to 43 per cent.
The polls indicate that Trump is viewed as the more trustworthy candidate regarding immigration and crime. In contrast, Harris has shown her commitment to benefitting the middle class in her speeches. She is also more frequently chosen in surveys as the preferable candidate for safeguarding democracy and combating political extremism.
