Newly released US Department of Justice (DOJ) files have shed disturbing light on the online shopping habits of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, revealing a catalogue of purchases that experts say reflect predatory behaviour. The disclosures come as the DOJ continues to review and release documents linked to Epstein, more than four years after his death.

According to the DOJ, over one million documents related to Epstein are under review. CNN reported that around 750,000 documents have already been examined and released, while roughly 700,000 more remain to be reviewed. The department said it could take “a few more weeks” before the full set is made public.

Schoolgirl Uniforms Among Most Alarming Purchases

Among the most troubling revelations are Amazon receipts dating from 2014 to 2019, covering more than 1,000 items purchased by Epstein. The records include schoolgirl uniforms, such as pleated skirts and full-body dresses, that were ordered in 2018 and shipped directly to his Manhattan residence.

These purchases, documented in the newly released DOJ files, have been cited by experts as consistent with Epstein’s long-established pattern of sexual exploitation, according to the New York Post.

Sexual Wellness Products 

The records also show that two days after Christmas in 2018, Epstein ordered a Sonic prostate massager priced at USD 61.50 from Prostate Health Centre. Earlier, on April 18, 2017, he purchased bottles of Vagifirm, an herbal supplement marketed for vaginal tightness, lubrication and libido enhancement, paying $64.95 for the product. 

Speaking to the New York Post, relational trauma psychologist Desiree Nazarian said Epstein’s shopping list was deeply revealing. “This is not random. It’s a map of power,” she said, adding that the combination of child-coded items and sexual products was “clinically alarming.” Nazarian described the list as a textbook example of predatory dynamics marked by coercion, dominance and entitlement.

Costumes, Books and Other Bizarre Items

Other items in Epstein’s Amazon history include a novelty black-and-white prisoner costume purchased in August 2018, around 10 months before his arrest in July 2019. He also bought an FBI costume, Israel Defence Forces combat leggings, several sauna hats, binoculars and four novels by Vladimir Nabokov, including Lolita, the controversial book centred on pedophilia. 

Epstein, a registered sex offender, died in a New York jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. While his death ended criminal proceedings, the steady release of investigative records continues to expose the extent of his actions and behaviour.
