UFC 318 Max Holloway vs Dustin Poirier: Dustin Poirier would be entering the Ultimate Fighting Championship for the last time, where he will lock horns with the defending BMF champion Max Holloway on Sunday. Holloway won the title by defeating Justin Gaethje way back in 2024 during UFC 300.

He then switched to featherweight post that victory and then clinched the title yet again, but lost to Ilia Topuria.

The BMF belt was created for a UFC match between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal and has been one of the main players ever since this fight began way back in 2019.

Poirier and Holloway are quite well aware of each other as they have faced one another in the past.

The first time they met each other was 13 years ago during UFC 143, where Holloway made his debut. Poirier, who was an emerging featherweight at that time, had lost to Holloway during the first round and thus registered his fourth consecutive UFC win.

They locked horns with each other yet again in 2019. Poirier then defeated Holloway with a unanimous decision during UFC 236.

The UFC 318 between Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier would be livestreamed on the SonyLIV app. It would be telecast live on the Sony Sports network. The main event would start at 7:30 AM IST on Sunday in New Orleans.
