WWE Superstar John Cena recently opened up on his thoughts regarding the love he has received from Indian fans over the years, helping him massively with his global popularity.
Cena, who is all set to be seen in the action-packed film 'Heads of State', with Hollywood star Priyanka Chopra, spoke about India with unmistakable reverence, especially in the context of his journey with WWE. "I've said it before and I'll say it again - WWE's fanbase in India is absolutely passionate and incredibly fast-growing," he said. "I wouldn't be who I am today without them, and I'll continue to say that every single time you ask me."
Cena acknowledged the unwavering support he has received from Indian fans over the years. "The strength and energy from fans in India is unmatched. Even though we don't get to perform there often, we're still followed so closely, and that means a lot," he said, adding that the Indian audience has been crucial to WWE's global reach. "For that, I owe them a truly heartfelt thank you."
In a rare moment of reflection, Cena added, "I don't use this word often, but I feel very fortunate that my work has been able to reach and impact so many people there. Their passion and investment in me is a huge part of my journey, and I wouldn’t be where I am without them."
