The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has come to the support of Attorney General Pam Bondi after backlash from part of MAGA supporters over a dispute between her and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino. The case is related to the investigation into the death of sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. MAGA supporters took on Pam Bondi over the way the case was handled by the Justice Department.
Bongino, reportedly, had a heated argument with Attorney General Bondi after the Justice Department decided not to release any additional files in the Epstein case, and the DOJ confirmed that the files didn’t contain any list detailing Epstein’s clients. Frustrated over the decision, Bongino threatened to resign from his post.

Disagreements among the President’s supporters over the handling of Epstein files have become a flashpoint among MAGA conservatives.
Trump, through a post on Truth Social, extended his support to Bondi while ensuring that his MAGA base remains intact. He wrote, “nobody cares about” Epstein and that more time and effort should not be wasted on that case. “What’s going on with my “boys” and, in some cases, “gals?” They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening.”
“Instead of spending month after month looking at nothing but the same old, Radical Left inspired Documents on Jeffrey Epstein,” President Trump advised FBI Director Kash Patel in his 400-word-long post, urging him to focus on more important subjects.

In a joint memo, the FBI and Justice Department conclude there's no evidence to support conspiracy theories about Jeffrey Epstein's 2019 death in federal custody or alleged client lists.
The joint memo explicitly concluded that there was “no incriminating client list” after reviewing more than 300GB of data. It further said that there was no proof to back the claim that Epstein may have blackmailed prominent people.
