In a mass shooting incident in Indianola on Monday, three men were reported dead while a total of 16 others were shot, as reported by BNO news. The incident occurred when an individual began shooting near a nightclub.

The shooting occurred on Church Street just after midnight, Mayor Ken Featherstone said. Mayor Ken added that no arrests have been made at this time and there is no known motive, as reported by FOX13.  He also mentioned that both the deceased and the injured were "either directly shot or struck by ricochet bullets."

In another statement related to the incident, Ronald Sampson, the Indianola Police Chief, said, "Several people said that they were standing out there, and they started to hear gunshots."
