Artificial Intelligence (AI) is set to become an integral part of everyday life in Uttar Pradesh as the state government launches a massive drive to train 10 lakh individuals through the newly introduced AI Pragya Portal.

The initiative aims to provide free AI training to various groups—including government employees, teachers, students, doctors, and farmers. As part of this campaign, the state, in collaboration with Intel Corporation, will roll out an ‘AI Bus’ that will visit villages across the state.

Each bus will be stationed in a village for five days, equipped with high-speed internet and computers to provide practical, hands-on AI learning—especially for farmers aiming to integrate technology in agriculture.

The portal offers introductory videos and online course content, and offline training modules have also been prepared. Specialised training in the healthcare sector will be conducted in partnership with Google, while dedicated AI learning centres are being set up across the state. State coordinator Neha Jain confirmed that tailored courses are available for each category of learner.
