According to locals, Nitin and his wife Dolly often had arguments. They both were sitting on the roof on the night of May 13, when an argument broke out. He got furious and beat her and threw her on the ground.
After this, he dragged her to the balcony. According to the neighbours, Nitin held Dolly's feet and hung her upside down from the roof. Dolly kept screaming in this state for five minutes. When the people around gathered to save her, he threatened them of facing the consequences.
As soon as Nitin left Dolly after five minutes from the roof, the people standing below took her in their hands. Despite this, she suffered severe injuries on her head and waist due to falling from a height of 14 feet.
Seeing her lying injured, her six-year-old son sat beside her and kept crying. Later, on the information from the neighbours, her brother Raghunath Singh reached there. He told that Dolly was admitted to the Community Health Center at night. She was taken back to her maternal home on Thursday.
