Noida MLA Pankaj Singh inaugurated an EEG (Electroencephalogram) machine room at the District Hospital in Noida Sector-39 on Tuesday, a facility dedicated to the testing of epilepsy patients in the Delhi NCR region.

This new testing facility is expected to directly benefit patients from Hapur, Ghaziabad, and Gautam Buddh Nagar.

MLA Pankaj Singh highlighted that the test will be available for Rs 70, which will spare poor and needy patients from having to travel to Delhi or other districts for the procedure. He stated that efforts are continuously being made in collaboration with the Health Department to enhance local medical facilities. Mr Singh also noted that the hospital management has been asked to report any other machine requirements for patients, so arrangements can be made to procure them.

Acting CMS Dr Ajay Rana confirmed that appointments for patient testing will begin on Wednesday. Dr Swati Tyagi has been appointed as the Nodal Officer for this test, and she will be assisted by trained staff, including Sandeep.
