To manage the increased passenger demand during the upcoming Diwali and Chhath festivals, the Roadways transport corporation will operate additional bus services for a 13-day period. For the convenience of travelers, buses on high-demand routes including Bijnor, Noida, Delhi, Haridwar, Hastinapur and Shamli will be available 24 hours a day.
Bus Deployment From Meerut
Mohammad Asif, the Meerut Depot In-charge, has outlined the specific deployment of buses from the depot:
Delhi: 25 buses
Dehradun: 20 buses
Kotdwar: 25 buses
Shamli: 30 buses
Rishikesh: 35 buses
Lucknow and Gorakhpur: 4 buses each
Ambala: 3 buses
Ajmer and Jaipur: 2 buses each
Karnal: 1 bus

Employee Incentive Scheme
To ensure smooth operations and staff availability, an incentive scheme has been introduced for employees. According to Assistant Regional Manager (ARM) Vipin Agarwal, the details are as follows:
For Drivers and Conductors:
- Those who complete 3,600 kilometers in 12 days will receive an additional payment of Rs 4,800.
- Those covering 3,900 kilometers in 13 days will receive Rs 5,850.

For Support Staff:
Depot and workshop personnel who work continuously during the festive period will be given an honorarium of Rs 2,100 and Rs 2,500, respectively.
