Two teenage motorcyclists lost their lives, and a third remains in critical condition after their bike was struck by a speeding canter truck on Friday. The accident occurred near Chudiyala village within the jurisdiction of the Bhojpur police station.
The Incident
The victims have been identified as 15-year-old Imran and 16-year-old Wasim, both residents of Saidpur village in Bhojpur. According to reports, the three teenagers were travelling from Saidpur to a petrol station in Chudiyala to refuel their motorcycle.
While they were en route, a canter truck hit their motorcycle from behind. The impact was fatal for two of the riders, while the third companion sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Driver Flees Scene
Following the collision, the driver of the canter truck fled the spot along with the vehicle. Police officials noted that none of the three teenagers were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
Police Action
A formal complaint has been lodged at the local police station by the family of the deceased, Wasim. The police have launched a search operation to trace the absconding driver and the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run.
