Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation To Provide Cashless Medical, ID Cards And Service Centre For Gardeners

On Saturday, office-bearers of the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation Employees’ Union met with Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Singh Malik and other senior officials to discuss an 11-point demand letter. The meeting covered key issues, including cashless medical facilities, employee promotions, housing problems, and the provision of new furniture and water coolers across all zones.

Other demands discussed included the establishment of a record room, issuance of employee ID cards, and the creation of a service centre for gardeners. The Municipal Commissioner instructed the concerned officials to address all the points and resolve the employees’ issues.

In the meeting, Malik announced plans to construct multi-storey buildings for employees on municipal corporation land. Discussions were held on building multi-storey apartments in Gandhinagar, Madhuban Bapudham, and Rajnagar Extension for staff ranging from the Additional Municipal Commissioner to permanent employees and central service officers.

It was decided that residential buildings would be constructed for 345 employees and 84 officers, and officials were directed to prepare an action plan accordingly.

Additional Municipal Commissioner Avnindra Kumar, Municipal Health Officer Dr Mithilesh, General Manager (Water) Kamakhya Prasad Anand, and Dr Anuj, in charge of Horticulture, were also present during the meeting.
