In a significant move, the Ghaziabad Police Commissionerate conducted a major reshuffle on Friday, transferring nine inspectors and two sub-inspectors with immediate effect.
Inspector Anand Prakash Mishra has been appointed as the Station House Officer (SHO) of Modinagar police station, replacing Naresh Kumar Sharma, who will now take charge of Khora police station. Meanwhile, Inspector Sachin Kumar has been transferred from Sihani Gate police station to Kotwali, and Manoj Kumar has been moved from Kotwali to take over as the in-charge of Tronica City.
Dharampal Singh, previously stationed at the Police Lines, has been named the new SHO of Vijay Nagar police station, while the current in-charge of Vijay Nagar, Shashi Chaudhary, will now join the Crime Branch. Inspector Kuldeep Kumar Dixit will replace Sachin Kumar as the new SHO of Sihani Gate police station.
Inspector Ravi Kumar Baliyan has been shifted from UP-112 to become the in-charge of Tila Morh, and Prashant Tyagi has been appointed as the new in-charge of UP-112, coming from the Crime Branch.

In addition, Tila Morh SHO Rajendra Singh and Tronica City SHO Sarvan Kumar Gautam have been transferred to the Police Lines.
Meanwhile, the Ghaziabad Bar election is drawing attention, with 30 candidates in the fray and a noticeable surge in voter enthusiasm among the local lawyers.
