With the reduction in pollution levels, the restrictions of Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) stages three and four have been lifted, which will now accelerate development work. Work has begun on expediting construction activities. However, construction on important projects, such as the underpass at Ch Murti Chowk in Greater Noida West and the bridge over the Hindon river, had continued.

The Greater Noida Authority is undertaking works such as the construction of new roads in sectors and villages, the repair of dilapidated roads, and the construction of drains for water drainage. According to the authority's project department, work is underway at more than 100 sites. This will now gain momentum with the lifting of GRAP restrictions.

The repair of the road will bring relief to thousands of people. Repair work on the city's main Surajpur-Kasna road has been stalled, causing difficulties for drivers. The approximately 12-kilometre-long road is damaged in several places in two sections: between Surajpur Ghantaghar Chowk and LG Chowk, and from Sector P-3 to Kasna.

After a long wait, the road repair work had begun, but had to be stopped due to the implementation of GRAP restrictions. Meanwhile, repair work is also underway on the road from Kasna town to the Sirsa Golchakkar (roundabout).

Work is ongoing on several projects, including the reconstruction of the road from Greater Noida's Depot Metro Station, Junpat Golchakkar (roundabout), towards Sector Mu. The completion of these projects will bring relief to thousands of people.

He added that construction work has now resumed and the projects will be completed on time. Water sprinkling on roads will continue, and regulations will be followed during the work.
