Noida's Jungle Trail, a theme park built out of nearly 500 tonnes of iron waste, is almost ready and is likely to be open to the public from July this year, as per a report by TOI.

The report suggests that the park will undergo a trial run from June 25. The park is almost ready and the final touches, including main gate installation, cafeteria, and paintwork, are remaining.

The theme park has over 700 life-size animal sculptures like those of elephants, tigers, camels, and birds, from six continents.

The park is divided into four themed zones and spread across 20 acres. It is likely to be inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath as Deputy Director (horticulture) of Noida Authority, Anand Mohan Singh, said that the CM will be invited.

The Jungle Trail is strategically located to attract visitors from most of the Delhi-NCR, including the national capital, Greater Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad.

The Noida Authority is developing the park on a public-private partnership (PPP) model in collaboration with Z-Tech, a private company, which has developed similar projects in Lucknow.

Providing details about the park, Z-Tech vice-president Isha Chaudhary said that every animal sculpture has been designed using iron waste like nuts, bolts, chains, and rods, among others.

TOI quoted Chaudhary saying, "This reinforces our dedication to protecting the environment and our support towards the Swachh Bharat Mission," she said. "At this park, visitors can also experience a night Jungle Safari, where illuminated sculptures and ambient lighting create an authentic, life-like adventure."

The park has been developed using nearly 500 tonnes of iron waste, in a bid to turn discarded material into captivating visual elements.
