Applicants can approach their respective Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) without prior appointments on Saturday, December 27, to address passport-related grievances, as the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Lucknow, is organising a Public Grievance Redressal Fair (Jan ShikayatNivaran Mela).

The fair will be held at Passport Seva Kendras in Lucknow’s Ratan Square, Kanpur, Gorakhpur and Varanasi between 9 am and 5:30 pm. Similar grievance redressal fairs will also be organised on the last Saturday of February, April, June, August, October and December in 2026.

During the mela, applicants can seek resolution for most passport-related issues, barring legal matters, changes in date of birth, single-parent cases, adoption, name change requests, and issues related to fees for Emergency Certificates and Surrender Certificates.

The initiative aims to ease recurring difficulties faced by applicants, clear pending cases, and make passport services more citizen-centric, transparent and accountable.
