Lucknow Power Cut Today: UPPCL Announces Outage In Multiple Areas On Sept 16; Check Affected Areas

The Uttar Pradesh Electricity Department has announced a series of scheduled power cuts on September 16 to carry out essential maintenance work, affecting multiple areas across Lucknow.

According to officials, power supply in localities connected to the Sector 1 substation in Chinhat, including Sulabh Awas Sector 6, Kakraha Purwa, Rivera I & II, and Pink Booth Colony, will remain suspended from 11 am to 1 pm.

Similarly, areas linked to the Sarvodaya Nagar substation, such as Sarvodaya Nagar, Manas, Meena Market, A Block, GB Lawn, Lavkush Nagar, Faizabad Road, and Kurmanchal Nagar, will also face an outage during the same time.

In Indira Nagar, residents of Sectors 18-25 (A Block), Prakash Lok B Block, Kalyanpur, RK Puram, Abrar Nagar, Resfeel Dhal, Shivani Vihar, Nehru Nagar, Ahilyabai Nagar, and Samodipur, supplied by the Sector 25 substation, will see no power from 10 am to 3 pm.

The Mantri Awas substation in Gomti Nagar will cut power from 11 am to 2 pm, impacting Van Vibhag Colony, Mandi Parishad Colony, Ice Tower, PNB Tower, Telephone Exchange, and the Survey of India. Around A Block and Nilgiri (HAL substation), supply will be disrupted from 9 am to 1 pm.

Areas connected to the New Vishwavidyalaya Janakipuram substation, including Indrapuri Colony and Prakash Lawn (11 kV Seva feeder), will have no supply from 11 am to 1 pm. 

Localities under the 11 kV IIM Road feeder, such as IIM Road, Raipur, Krishna Colony, Madhuvan Vihar, Maharshi Nagar, Yadav Purwa, Bharatkund Mandir, Ishanika Towny, Balaji Enclave, and Madhupuram, will be without power from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

The Engineering College substation will affect M II Sector I, Alisha Nagar, HD Sector I, Shiv Vihar Colony, AB One Sector G, Vishal Hospital, and C One Sector G, with power outages during the day.

Meanwhile, in areas supplied by the Goyal and Purnia substations, electricity will be suspended in Sectors C, D, L, O, I, J, A, and G from 10 am to 12 pm. From 1 pm to 3 pm, outages will extend to Sectors C, D, Shivala Purwa, and Sectors L and M. 

In addition, Sectors H and J will face a blackout from 10 am to 5 pm, while Sectors L, G, H, Chaudhary Tola, and LDA Market will be without power from 10 am to 3 pm.
