Railway operations at Lucknow Junction will face temporary changes as platforms 2 and 3 will be closed for concourse construction starting July 31. Due to this, several trains will be diverted, rescheduled, or originate from alternative stations until September 25.
Train 22683 Yeshwantpur–Lucknow Junction and 22684 Lucknow Junction–Yeshwantpur Express will operate from Uttaretia station instead of Lucknow Junction between August 4 and September 25. Passengers are advised to board and deboard at Uttaretia during this period.

Similarly, train 14260 Lucknow–Gaya Express will experience a 20-minute delay in departure from Lucknow.
Train 15120 Dehradun–Banaras Janta Express will not arrive at Lucknow station from August 1 to September 25. Instead, it will be diverted via Alamnagar–Transport Nagar–Uttaretia, with halts at Alamnagar and Uttaretia.
The same diversion will apply to train 15128 New Delhi–Banaras Kashi Vishwanath Express, which will also bypass Lucknow Junction during this period.
Several long-distance trains will follow alternate routes via Manak Nagar–Aishbagh–Malhaur:
-Train 22921 Bandra–Gorakhpur Express (August 3 to September 21)
-Train 11123 Gwalior–Barauni Express (July 31 to September 24)

-Train 12555 Gorakhpur–Bathinda Gorakhdham Express (August 1 to September 25)
-Train 15030 Pune–Gorakhpur Express (August 2 to September 20)
These diverted trains will halt at Aishbagh station.
