Mahakumbh 2025: In astrological practices, the positions of the 12 zodiac signs and 9 planets play a significant role in influencing public life. At the Maha Kumbh, the Ganga Mahasabha camp, set up along the banks of the Sangam, follows a unique approach. Each of the camp's huts is named after a zodiac sign or planet, such as Kumbh Kuti, Vrishchik Kuti, Tula Kuti, and Mesha Kuti. The intention behind this is to keep the zodiac signs and planets in people's memories, offering a spiritual remedy to those experiencing planetary afflictions.

The saints of the Ganga Mahasabha have temporarily set up camp in Jhunsi, where 47 tarpaulin huts are arranged, each bearing a distinct name.

The 12 Zodiacs And 9 Planets

Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces. Besides these, huts have been built in the name of the four Vedas, planets and constellations like Diwakar, Shashi, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Bhargava, Saturn, Sanhikeya, Rig, Yaju, Sama, Atharva, Arun, Garuda, Bhagirathi, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Triveni, Prayag, Manyu, Manu, Manihas, Mahan, Shiva, Ritdhwaj, Ugrareta, Bhava, Kaal, Shri Akhilananda Gurukulam, Vamdev and Dhootvrat.

The late Justice Giridhar Malviya was deeply respected by all and had a special bond with Mahamandaleshwar Swami Jitendranand Saraswati, the General Secretary of Ganga Mahasabha. In honor of this close relationship, Giridhar Malviya's name holds a prominent place in the camp. An auditorium has been constructed in his memory, where saints gather to engage in discussions on various topics.

A hut named Naimisharanya has been constructed in the camp, inspired by the revered Hindu pilgrimage site located on the banks of the Gomti River in Sitapur district. Saints gather in this hut to discuss both religious and contemporary matters. Additionally, there is a hut within the camp called Sant Prasad, where food is distributed to all.
