In a spine-chilling incident, two kids were attacked by a group of dogs in the Rampur village of Milak, Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday. Both were reportedly playing outside their home. While one brutally bruised kid died, the other is in a serious condition.
According to the police, the boy, Ali Hamza, was a resident of Rampur. His mother was out for work when the dogs brutally attacked the minor. One boy fell to the ground as the dog tore off his flesh and then brutally attacked another boy.
Seeing the dog attack the boy and hearing the screams, the locals gathered on the scene. The children were rescued taken to a hospital, where one boy lost his life while the other is in critical condition.
Rahis Ahmed, the father of the deceased child, filed a complaint against Samad Khan, the poultry farm owner in the village. The victim's father has alleged that the dogs kept for the protection of the farm attacked the children. Following the complaint from the boy’s family, a team was formed, an autopsy has been done and further investigation is underway.
In another such incident, on June 12, an eleven-year-old boy was found dead in Muzhappilangad district of Kerala in what appeared to be an attack by a stray dog. The boy, Nihal, apparently left his home on Sunday night, and when he didn't come back, his family and nearby residents started looking for him.
To their shock, they found the child's body had plenty of marks that appeared to be the result of an animal bite. He was taken to the hospital while unconscious. The hospital's medical staff pronounced him dead.
