Noida Fire Incident: A car suddenly burst into flames in the middle of the road near Sector-76 Metro Station in Noida on Friday, triggering a massive traffic jam. After receiving a call, fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot.
The fire brigade team quickly brought the blame under control and doused it. The incident caused heavy traffic congestion, prompting traffic police to block the road and start clearing drive.
The flames were so intense that the vehicle looked like a ball of fire. Thick black smoke rising above the elevated metro track could be seen from kilometres away. Several onlookers recorded the incident on their mobile phones and shared the videos on social media.
There was no report of loss of life or injuries. The police filed a case and initiated a probe into the matter.

The incident comes a day after a similar fire incident was reported near the Golf Course Metro Station, Noida. A road sweeping vehicle caught fire within the jurisdiction of Sector 39 Police Station. A fire brigade team doused the flame timely. There was no loss of life in the incident, said police.
