Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0, the first instalment was released to 199 beneficiaries of Greater Noida in the Collectorate auditorium. During the event, people at the Collectorate also watched a live broadcast of a programme held in Lucknow, chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. 

To realise the pledge of providing a permanent house for every poor person in Uttar Pradesh, Rs 1,00,000 was sent to the bank accounts of each of the 199 beneficiaries for the sanction of housing construction under the scheme.

The beneficiaries included 55 from Dadri, 10 from Bilaspur Nagar Panchayat (town council), one from Dankaur, 18 from Rabupura Nagar Panchayat, 72 from Jewar Nagar Panchayat, and 43 from Jahangirpur. Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh distributed the sanction letters to the beneficiaries. 

Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Manglesh Dubey, Sub-Divisional Officer Arvind Kumar, Deputy Collector Ved Prakash Pandey, City Mission Manager of DUDA Gautambuddh Nagar Sheela Kumari, and District Coordinator of DUDA Gautambuddh Nagar Akash Sharma were among those present.
