Farmer Registry App:  In order to compile all of the Uttar Pradesh farmer's data into a single app, the farmer registration program was scheduled to begin on July 5. Similar to Aadhaar, the farmer's data was to be captured in this. The Farmer Registry app would have access to the farmer's land, crop, and other data once the work on this app is finished, however, as of right now, the project hasn't even begun, much less been finished.

As a result, farmers are compelled to work in their traditional methods. Numerous farmers will profit from this, but some may find it difficult as well. The advantages of several programs, like Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, would be denied to these farmers.

About 14 months ago, a survey was done using the Farmer Registry App in the Farrukhabad district of the state and the Chhajjupur village of Hapur. The app was to be installed on the ground on July 5. The Lekhpal and Agriculture Department officials will walk from village to village, uploading farmers' data to the Farmer Registry App. KYC had to be completed after the data was uploaded.

Farmers might use this app to examine data of their whole field, crops, and more on their mobile devices. After the data is uploaded to this app, farmers will no longer have to go to tehsils to obtain land papers such as Fard, Khatoni, Hissa Prashiksha Patra, documents supplied at the time of grant, seeds, and so on.

The farmers will receive a number, similar to Aadhaar. He could have accessed this number and seen his complete data, but this process has not started even after more than three months.

Many farmers will benefit from submitting data to this app, while some may also suffer losses due to its use. Actually, some farmers' land has been occupied, with houses and other structures constructed on it, but it is still classified as agricultural land in records.

In such a case, when the department visits the location to take pictures and perform a survey, farmers would be denied access to various amenities, such as Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, KCC, and so on.

Farmer Registry App Benefits

Farmers would be able to profit from numerous programs depending on the information provided into this app, rather than having to acquire various land-related paperwork for loan purposes, etc.

In some ways, the Farmer Registry App will serve as an identification, with all of the information available on a single number, but because development has not yet begun on this app, farmers are continuing to work as usual.
