PM Modi Kanpur Visit: Keeping the proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra to Kanpur in view,  the traffic arrangement in the district has been altered, and a route diversion plan has been implemented. Superintendent of Police Deeksha Sharma has issued an advisory regarding the route diversion.

Route Diversion Effective From 4 pm To 10 pm

As per the directions issued by the Hamirpur police, the route diversion will be effective from 4 am to 10 pm on May 30, Jagran.com reported. Vehicles coming from Banda district to Hamirpur will be stopped at the Banda-Hamirpur border and allowed to proceed towards Kanpur after the VIP program concludes.

Vehicles going from Mahoba to Kanpur will be diverted from Khanna police station to the Bundelkhand Expressway. Other vehicles heading towards Kanpur will be stopped at Baswari Tiraha (Rath Road) and allowed to proceed towards Kanpur after the VIP program concludes.

Advisory For Vehicles Coming From Rath

Vehicles coming from Rath will be stopped at Biban and Lalpura police stations. After the VIP program concludes, these vehicles will be allowed to proceed towards Kanpur via Rath Road. 

To ensure smooth traffic flow and security, local police and traffic personnel will be deployed at key locations and barricades across the district.
