A young man was killed after being hit by an unidentified tractor-trolley near Baramasi on the Vishunpur Kala-Ma Varahi Devi road. In a shocking turn of events, the driver threw the victim's body into a nearby field and fled the scene with his vehicle. Villagers discovered the accident after spotting the victim's bike lying on the road. Following the incident, family members and villagers have blocked the road in protest. Police personnel are currently on the scene trying to pacify the crowd.
The victim has been identified as Aman Mishra, a resident of Rupi in Vishunpur Kala. He had gone to Belsar on Monday morning and was returning home on his bike late in the evening. About one kilometer away from his village, an unknown tractor-trolley driver hit his bike. It is reported that Aman died instantly from the impact. Taking advantage of the deserted road, the driver picked up the body, dumped it in a field and escaped.
The body remained in the field for some time until a villager spotted it and informed the rest of the village. Enraged by the incident, the locals prevented the police from removing the body and began protesting on the road. The family is adamant in their demand for the immediate arrest of the driver. Station House Officer (SHO) Anuj Tripathi stated that they are trying to reason with the villagers and that efforts are underway to apprehend the tractor driver.
