Public Holiday In UP Tomorrow: A senior official in Lucknow said that the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has declared a public holiday on October 11 in honour of 'Navami'. The last day of Navratri, known as "Navami," is when individuals break their fast with "kanya bhoj," puja, and havan. That's why the state is having three days of holiday this weekend, that is, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This is the first time that a public holiday has been declared on the occasion of Navami.
"In view of the demand of various organisations and the festival of 'Navami' falling tomorrow, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to declare October 11 a public holiday, excluding essential services," said Director Information Shishir.
What's Closed Tomorrow In UP
Schools, colleges, and offices will all be closed on Friday. Public and private sector banks will also remain closed tomorrow. However, online work will not be affected due to the closure of banks. In fact, banks will remain closed in most states on October 11. These states include - Tripura, Karnataka, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, West Bengal, Bihar, Meghalaya and Jharkhand.
All government schools will be closed on Friday to celebrate Navratri Navami. The Basic Education Department has issued an official order confirming the holiday. Please note that only necessary services are not affected by the closure.

What's Open Tomorrow In UP
The Chief Minister's Office said that holiday has been announced for various sectors of the state government, with the exception of vital services.
CM Yogi Visits Aadishakti Maa Pateshwari Devi Shaktipeeth
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh took blessings of Maa Bhagwati by visiting and worshipping her at the famous 'Aadishakti Maa Pateshwari Devi Shaktipeeth' temple in Balrampur district. He wrote on the X platform, "Shri Pateshwari Devayai Namah, on the auspicious occasion of 'Sharadiya Navratri', today I got the great fortune of visiting and worshipping Maa Bhagwati at 'Aadishakti Maa Pateshwari Devi Shaktipeeth' located in Tulsipur of Balrampur district. I pray to Jagaddhatri Maa Jagdamba to keep her blessings on the entire world."
