The Uttar Pradesh government has promoted eight officers of the Indian Forest Service (IFS) in the state Forest Department. These officers will receive the benefits of their new grade starting January 1, 2026. 

Ramesh Chandra, a 2008-batch officer, has been elevated from Conservator of Forests to Chief Conservator of Forests, with his promotion effective from January 1, 2026 or the date of assuming charge.

Two 2012-batch officers, Sanjay Kumar Viswal and Suraj, have been promoted from the selection grade (pay matrix level-13) to Conservator of Forests (pay matrix level-13A). Separate posting orders for these officers will be issued shortly.

Additionally, five officers of the 2013 batch, Divya, Isha Tiwari, Deeksha Bhandari, Manish Singh, and Sundaresha, have been promoted from the junior administrative grade (level-12) to the selection grade (level-13).
