UP IPS Transfer: The Yogi Adityanath government has continued its reshuffle of administrative and police officials. After transferring 16 IAS officers on Tuesday, the Uttar Pradesh government shifted seven IPS officers on Wednesday.

According to the notification issued by the Home Department, DIG Rules and Manuals Dev Ranjan Verma, who was earlier moved to the establishment branch in the DGP’s office, has now had his transfer cancelled and has been posted as DIG Police Training, Lucknow.

Other changes include:

  • Dr Satish Kumar, Commander SDRF Lucknow, was attached as Superintendent of Police in the office of the DGP.
  • Abhijeet Kumar, Additional DCP, Prayagraj Commissionerate, posted as Additional SP (Rural), Meerut.
  • Atul Kumar Srivastava, SP Rampur, shifted as DCP, Kanpur Nagar Commissionerate.
  • Mamta Rani Chaudhary, Additional DCP, posted as DCP, Lucknow Commissionerate.
  • Shailendra Kumar Singh, ASP Amethi, posted as DCP, Gautam Buddh Nagar Commissionerate.
  • Triguna Bisen, ASP Firozabad, posted as DCP, Ghaziabad Commissionerate.

This latest reshuffle highlights the government’s ongoing exercise of streamlining police administration across the state.
