Sikandarpur-Ballia Highway Update: In a major update for the commuters, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has given approval to develop the 34-kilometer stretch from Sikandarpur to Ballia into a four-lane highway. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has stated that the stretch will significantly boost the regional connectivity. The highway will provide convenience to thousands of passengers by cutting the travel time and reducing traffic congestion. While the project has got approval from the central government, the construction is likely to begin in the later months of the year. Along with improving the regional connectivity, the project is also expected to boost the financial activities in these districts.

While providing details, the officials stated that the total length of this road is approximately 34 kilometers. They further stated that the stretch will directly connect Gorakhpur, Deoria, and Ballia, providing major relief to the commuters.
