In a tragic and unsettling incident, 75-year-old Sangruram from Kuchhmuchh village in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur district passed away just hours after marrying a woman less than half his age. After losing his wife a year ago and living alone since, Sangruram hoped the marriage would bring him companionship in his final years.

According to NDTV, despite objections from family members, he married 35-year-old Manbhavati from the Jalalpur area on September 29. The couple registered their marriage in court and performed traditional wedding rituals at a temple.

Following the ceremony, Manbhavati said her new husband had spoken warmly about building a life together, even entrusting her with managing the household. She claimed they spent the night talking and bonding.

However, by morning, Sangruram's health deteriorated suddenly. He was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.

The suddenness of his death has sparked suspicion among villagers. While some believe it could be natural due to his age, others suspect foul play. His relatives, including nephews from Delhi, have paused the funeral and are demanding clarity.
