A new WhatsApp-based chatbot service has been activated, allowing people to access transport-related services easily and transparently from their homes.

The objective of this initiative is to provide simple, accessible, and transparent services to all citizens.

Through this chatbot, users can obtain information and services directly on their mobile phones, including:

  • Driving Licences
  • Vehicle Registration
  • Tax Payments
  • Fitness Certificates
  • Permits
  • Other related services

This new system aims to eliminate the need for citizens to visit transport offices unnecessarily.

How To Use The Service

- Save the mobile number 8005441222 to your phone's contacts.

- Open WhatsApp and send a message with "Hi" or "Namaste" to this number.

- The chatbot will automatically assist with the next steps and provide the relevant information within moments.

24 By 7 Availability And 'Digital India'

The Transport Department stated that this service will be available 24 by7, providing users with fast, secure, and reliable information through a digital medium. This initiative is a major step towards making citizen services more accessible through technology, in line with the 'Digital India' campaign.
