Several districts in Uttar Pradesh witnessed rain on Tuesday, providing respite to residents amid high temperatures in the state. Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Kanpur received light to moderate rain while cloud cover in Allahabad brought pleasant weather. However, residents in western Uttar Pradesh are expected to experience hot and humid weather for a few more days. 

Agra Weather Updates

Agra's residents endured high humidity levels, resulting in continuous sweating and discomfort on Tuesday. The weather turned pleasant around 4 PM due to cloud cover and strong winds. The maximum temperature rose while the minimum temperature fell. The weather department predicted partial cloudiness for Wednesday, with intermittent sunshine and clouds observed since morning.

Bareilly Weather Updates 

Bareilly saw a return of heat on Tuesday morning after three days of relief. By 11:30 AM, the sun's intensity increased, causing discomfort. However, the weather changed dramatically by 12:30 PM, with dark clouds and heavy rain providing relief from the heat. Despite the increased temperature, the rain and strong winds made the heat more bearable.

Gorakhpur Weather Updates 

Gorakhpur experienced heavy rain from 3 AM on Wednesday, following a day of humid heat. The rain brought relief to residents and was beneficial for farmers. On Monday evening, clouds and strong winds had signaled the impending change, with lightning and thunder preceding the rain.

Kanpur Weather Updates 

Kanpur saw intermittent rain on Tuesday as the monsoon's approach caused several rounds of rainfall. Meteorologists predict continued intermittent rain for the next two days, followed by heavy monsoon rains. The city recorded 6.3 mm of rainfall on Tuesday, indicating increased cloud activity and monsoon onset.

Meerut Weather Update 

Meerut's residents experienced intense humid heat on Tuesday, with the maximum temperature at 38.4 degrees Celsius and minimum humidity at 55 per cent. The heat index reached at 53, posing a serious health risk. Despite the temperature being below 40 degrees Ceslius, the high humidity made it feel much hotter. The Meteorological Department forecasted a dust storm on Wednesday, with continuous rain expected from the 27th.

Prayagraj Weather Updates 

In Prayagraj, clouds provided some relief from June's scorching heat but brought high humidity. For the past three days, residents have suffered from severe humidity, with fluctuating cloud cover creating a game of sun and shade. Meteorologists expect these conditions to persist until Wednesday, with slight relief anticipated from Thursday. The dense cloud cover will reduce sunlight but increase humidity's impact.
