UPPCL Electricity Bill Payment: The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) on Wednesday announced that it will organise a three-day mega camp in Muzaffarnagar from July 17 to 19 to resolve the customer's issues. The authority stated that the camps will be organised in the eight divisions of the city, adding that the complaints of the customers will also be registered on the portal of UPPCL. The authority has advised the customers to register their complaints to get solutions and avoid any inconveniences in the future. The problem-solving camps are being organised after receiving multiple complaints regarding electricity bills in the past few months.

The authority stated that the issue related to the meter or the bills is being resolved, further advising the customers to pay the bill within the deadline. The corporation has a due of Rs 550 crore on consumers of Muzaffarnagar, reported Jagran.Com.

While providing details, Chief Engineer Pawan Kumar Agarwal stated that the UPPCL has dues of more than Rs 550 crore on 4.50 lakh consumers in the district. He further stated that thousands of customers are waiting for the OTS scheme to be implemented, adding that others are having issues with the bill amount.

These issues will be resolved 

Agarwal stated that the corporation decided to organise the camps after receiving complaints from almost all the divisions of the district. He further stated that the customers will be able to register complaints regarding several issues, including discrepancies in bills, faults in meters, new electricity connections, and increasing electricity loads.

The camps will be organized in all eight divisions under the supervision of the executive engineer. He further stated that the camps will be organised at the executive engineer's office in New Mandi Patel Nagar and outside the Housing Development Colony in Khatauli.

Earlier last month, several customers complained that they had been receiving irregular electricity bills for the past few months.
