The UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission is set to begin document verification for 3,475 candidates found eligible for recruitment to 1,828 posts of Assistant Accountant and Auditor on January 13. The Commission has released the document verification letter, four other forms, and the schedule for the concerned candidates on its website, upsssc.gov.in. 

Candidates can download these by clicking on the available link on the website and entering the required details. After the written examination for 668 posts of Assistant Accountant (general selection), 950 posts of Assistant Accountant (special selection), and 209 posts of Auditor (general selection) in the Directorate of Internal Accounts and Audit, and one post of Assistant Accountant in the UP State Legal Services Authority, the commission had released the results and cut-off marks for a total of 3,475 qualified candidates on its website on October 17.

Now, the document verification for these candidates will be conducted in two shifts (the first from 10 AM and the second from 1:30 PM) on January 13, 14, 15, 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, and 29 and on February 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12. Until February 11, the documents of 100 candidates will be checked in each of the two shifts. 

On February 12, 75 candidates will be processed during the first shift, and document verification for absent candidates will take place during the second shift. According to the commission's Secretary, Avnish Saxena, concerned candidates must bring the original and photocopies of all marksheets and certificates as per the advertised essential qualifications, reservation-related certificates, and certificates in support of age relaxation. The candidates must also bring two passport-sized colour photographs, along with printed copies of the downloaded document verification letter and other forms, with the required entries filled in.

For the verification, the original and a self-attested photocopy of a photo identity card (such as an Aadhaar card) are mandatory. If a candidate is absent on the scheduled date and informs the commission's office in writing by 11 AM on February 12, they will be given an opportunity for document verification in the second shift on February 12, subject to approval from the competent authority.
